Would under-bed bins or vacuum storage bags work better for storing spare bedding in a small apartment?

A fictional renter has one small closet and needs to store two extra comforters and guest sheets. The bed has enough clearance for shallow bins, but dust collects underneath it. Vacuum bags would take less space, though the bedding would need to be unpacked when guests visit. Which option is easier to live with?
