How to request deletion

Email yjs_maoge@163.com from the email address associated with your Should I? account. Use “Should I? data deletion request” as the subject. If you signed in with Facebook, mention that in your message. You may include links to decisions or votes you want us to locate, but do not send a password or access token.

If you cannot use that email address, contact us from another address and explain how we can identify the account. We may request verification before deleting account data.

02

What happens next

We will review your request, confirm the account when necessary, and remove or de-identify data associated with it where we can. This includes the local account profile, authored decisions and associated images, and account-linked participation and notifications. We will also coordinate deletion of the Clerk authentication account where applicable.

Some information may need to be retained for legal reasons, to resolve abuse reports, or temporarily in backups. We will explain any material exception when responding. At present there is no self-service account deletion button.

Facebook connection

You can also remove Should I? from your Facebook account under Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites. Disconnecting Facebook stops future access through that connection, but it does not by itself delete data already stored by Should I?. Email us using the steps above for deletion.
