Would a rolling kitchen cart or a fold-down table work better for extra space in a small rental kitchen?

The kitchen has little counter space, but its walkway is narrow. A cart could add storage, while a fold-down table would stay out of the way when not in use. It’s a tricky choice when either option could make daily cooking easier or more cramped. What would you consider before deciding?
