Should we use a folding table or a small bookshelf as a temporary entryway drop zone?

Our apartment has no entryway storage, so keys, mail, and bags end up on the kitchen counter. A folding table would be easy to move, while a bookshelf would keep things more organized. We may rearrange the room in a few months, so I’m unsure which would be more useful for now.
