Would a tension-rod drying setup or a folding rack work better for air-drying laundry in a small rental?

A renter has limited floor space and cannot make permanent changes. A tension rod would keep the floor clear, but it could get in the way of shower use and may not suit heavier items. A folding rack can hold more varied laundry and move between rooms, but it takes up space while in use and needs somewhere to be stored. The balance may depend on how often laundry needs drying, whether the bathroom has a suitable place for a rod, and how much storage space is available.
